Shown below are a selection of rescues that we have dealt with. Over a normal 12 month period we average 4.5 incidents per day every day of the year, on average that is over 1600 rescues per annum.
Since opening in 1994 we have dealt with over 12 thousand incidents, some have been false alarms but most were genuine where the swans needed our help.
As you can see there is a desperate need for our services.

STUCK IN A NET
This swan had got tangled in a over head fish farm net. It took Ken 40 minutes to cut her free.	Cutting Her Free	All Safe, she was released unhurt to her awaiting family.
